Our in-house Gourmet Kitchen and Kids Café provide fresh meals prepared by our chef every day that are highly nutritional, delicious and healthy.
We use the freshest, seasonal ingredients and our menus are rotated regularly to ensure variety. Your child will receive developmentally appropriate balanced meals throughout the day including:
- Breakfast (before 7.30am)
- Morning Tea
- Lunch with a Nutritious Dessert
- Afternoon Tea
- Late Snack
We welcome families to share their favourite recipes that are healthy choices for our children and we also encourage families to share culturally diverse recipe ideas that we can integrate into our menus.
Allergies and Special Diets:
Here at Outlook Early Learning Centre – Fletcher, we understand that all children are unique and that some children have special dietary needs that address food allergies and/or intolerances along with simply choosing not to eat certain foods based on preference.
- Our Centre is nut-free and our premises and procedures comply with all food safety regulations.
- We can cater to your child’s unique dietary requirements, simply speak with our staff who can help to plan strategies to accommodate their needs.
Along with being able to access our weekly menus at our Centre (we often post them on our website also), you can see your child’s daily food intake that will be documented for you to review when collecting your child at the end of the day.
It's more than Food:
Healthy choices and fun-filled nutrition are important to us and by building a custom Gourmet Kitchen with Kids Café it has enabled us to provide this high quality initiative as part of your child’s experience here at our early learning and preschool Centre in Fletcher. After all, meal times for our children are about more than just food! It’s a chance to try new things, experience new textures and tastes.
Our Kids Café is a place where our children, Carers and Educators gather to eat and drink, providing an opportunity for social development, language along with practicing hygiene, etiquette and self-help skills.
